So many things wrong with this film, it's not even worth the time to complain. The last 60 seconds are the entertaining...
Summer isn't the best time for DVD releases, so I'm knee-deep into streaming Breaking Bad, (love it!) with occasional breaks for Extras (HBO / Ricky Gervais, it's okay.) Taika Waititi's sweet coming of age dramedy, set in 1984, about a motherless impoverished New Zealand child coping with the return of his absentee / recently paroled father. Beautiful, loved it, but not subtitled and the accents are charming, but dense: put your headphones on for this one!
